We found some of the healthiest nutrient packed berries on the planet and coated them in our huckleberry dark chocolate.
You will be surprised by the combination of citrus and berry in this treat. Golden berries are bright, orange-colored fruits that are closely related to the tomatillo.
Slightly smaller than cherry tomatoes, these fruits have a sweet, tropical taste somewhat reminiscent of pineapple and mango. Many people enjoy their juicy pop of flavor as a snack or in salads, sauces and jams.
Golden berries are also known as Inca berry, Peruvian groundcherry, poha berry, goldenberry, husk cherry and cape gooseberry.

Do you make the chocolate by hand?
Yes. Once the beans arrive at Tabal Chocolates we sort, roast, crack and winnow, grid, conch or aerate, temper, pour into molds, then wrap each bar by hand.
Where do you get the cocoa beans?
We get the beans through our communities in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Columbia, Nicaragua, and Peru.
