Beschreibung

The extremely rare Criollo Blanco Cacao in this bar was grown on the Bosques de Cacao Yariguies farm near El Carmen de Chucuri, Colombia.  the pods are gathered and the beans extracted by hand before being fermented for 5 days and sun dried.

The chocolate maker at Tabal perfectly roasts the cacao to reveal the delicate nutty and creamy flavour notes.  A light color and addictive mellowness in the chocolate is one of a kind in the world.

Our chocolate is stone ground for three days in small batches from bean to bar to develop exotic flavours and maintain nutrients.

Purchasing this chocolate bar helps support small scale cacao farmers, biodiversity, cacao forest reforestation and gender equity on farms.
