Description

EL CARMEN DE CHUCURI, COLOMBIA 80%                  (2 Ingredient)

This two ingredient Colombian chocolate bar is slightly darker than the Colombia 70% and is a staff favorite!

The word "ka" comes from the Mayan language meaning "two."

We especially like these cacao beans because of their high quality and unique flavors.  Purchasing this chocolate bar helps support Bosques de Cacao Yariguies which looks to save their heritage, prevent young farmers from moving to the cities due to lack of opportunity in rural areas, and to protect the environment.

Origin: El Carmen de Chucuri, Santander, Colombia, in the Colombian Andes

Tasting notes:  Bold cocoa, caramel notes, banana and hint of citrus
