Location:   7515 Harwood Ave. Wauwatosa Village.

Time:   7-9pm  Please arrive 5 minutes early to get settled

An introduction to chocolate lasting approximately two hours. Class begins with students pouring their own chocolate bars and decorating them with toppings. We’ll taste and learn about the different types of single origin chocolate, their ingredients, and flavor profiles. Also covered is the processing that goes on before the cacao reaches Tabal and the bean to bar process. Finally we will go on a world tasting tour that explores the unique flavor profiles of single origin chocolate.

Space is limited to 12 guests so be sure to book your class soon. 
While the experience is geared toward adults, children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

  • Learning about ingredient sourcing and flavors

  • The bean to bar process for making chocolate

  • How to taste single origin dark chocolate

  • Tasting the amazing flavors of Tabal Chocolate

  • Students will take home 3 chocolate bars that they made

We are happy to reschedule or provide a full refund for cancellations at least one week before your event is scheduled, and a 50% refund if you change or cancel at least three days before. We cannot provide refunds if you contact us for rescheduling or cancellation less than 72 hours before a class. You are always welcome to send someone else in your place if you are unable to attend. Do you ship to my country?

Do you make the chocolate by hand?

Yes. Once the beans arrive at Tabal Chocolates we sort, roast, crack and winnow, grid, conch or aerate, temper, pour into molds, then wrap each bar by hand.

Where do you get the cocoa beans?

We get the beans through our communities in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Columbia, Nicaragua, and Peru.

Do you do wholesale?

Yes. We do.
